Best Friends
One of my biggest goals as a momma bear is to have my kids grow up to be productive, kind people and be best friends for life. However- reality- I feel like my favorite quote that I yell LOUDLY everyday is: “God gave you each other, one of the greatest gifts in life- to have a best friend always.” However the little man-silently hits sis and then she screams, then they wrestle to the point they both are either screaming, laughing or telling on each other. Argg… It has been going on for months… no end in sight...The fighting, the bickering, but then the sky will part and they will be playing for hours on end.
What do you do to keep peace at your house?
So- what’s for dinner?
Fajita Pulled Pork Soft Tacos- Super easy!
Another easy Wildtree recipe, this is a freezer meal recipe- so make a few, eat one tonight and freeze the others for later!
Ingredients:
2 pounds pork loin
1 (4 ounce) can diced green chiles
3 tablespoons Fajita Seasoning
2 tablespoons Taco Sauce
1/2 cup low sodium chicken stock
8 (6-inch) flour tortillas
2 cups shredded lettuce
1 tomato diced
Directions:
Add pork loin, diced green chilies, Fajita Seasoning, and Taco Sauce to a freezer bag and seal. Squeeze the bag to combine the ingredients. Freeze.
Thaw freezer bag completely before emptying into a slow cooker. Pour chicken stock over roast, cover, and cook on high for 4-5 hours or low for 6-8 hours. Shred pork in the slow cooker and toss with juices. Place shredded pork in tortillas. Serve topped with lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream
If you don’t have the Wildtree products, just use something similar from your pantry. Or you can order directly from the link from my local rep.
